Over the past four years your legislature has increased spending by 8.2 Billion Dollars (33%). What do we have to show for this massive outlay? Are our schools doing a better job educating our children? Is traffic less congested? Health care more affordable? Are there fewer violent felons on our streets? Are local businesses more profitable or less burdened by needless regulations?

 

None of this has been accomplished. Our governor and her legislative supporters believe too much in old, worn out, big government solutions, and are too beholden to special interests, such as the gambling industry, trial lawyers and powerful unions, to bring about any meaningful progress. Your hard earned tax dollars are not being used wisely or efficiently. Rather, they help ensure ongoing campaign contributions to incumbents who will do nothing but continue the same tired, ineffective tax and spend policies.

 

With your help and support I will make sure taxes are kept at a reasonable level, our money is spent wisely and effectively and that your government works for you, the taxpayer, rather than for politically powerful special interests.

 

I would greatly appreciate your vote in the primary on August 19th and in the general election on Nov. 4th.
